A multifunctional space was part of the brief here – and we think we’ve delivered just that! Our client had an existing rumpus/gym room in their home that they wanted to get a bit more use out of, so  reaching out to us for some expert opinions on how to make this a multifunctional space, we came up with this modern solution – why not have both?! Luckily there was plenty of room to work with so we combined the two into one and it surprisingly works perfectly!

As you can see from the before and after photos, we’ve really transformed the area into a cosy abode where the whole family can relax, kick back and enjoy some relaxation time in front of the big screen, complete with the Dolby Atmos KEF Sound system and huge 140″ projector screen. In addition, the raised platform is ready for the right theatre room seating to be positioned atop, with the black carpeting and paintwork really adding to that cinema feel. But when it’s time to get moving, the gym equipment is there on the ready.

As more homeowners are looking at ways to make their home a haven that you never need to leave, multifunctional spaces like this certainly tick a lot of boxes.
