High-quality cabling is essential to ensure each component performs at its peak, so 12-gauge Terium speaker cabling and custom-made subwoofer cables were meticulously installed, offering consistent, interference-free connections. During the construction phase, walls and ceilings were structured to support in-wall and ceiling speakers, as well as lighting fixtures. Thoughtfully routing the wiring for the speakers, lighting, and projection system ensured a clean home theatre installation that hides cables and prevents visual clutter.

To create an enveloping sound experience, our team integrated a powerful combination of speakers and subwoofers, inclusive of three KEF Ci3160RL THX in-wall speakers delivering rich, home theatre grade audio at the front. Four Ascendo wall-mounted speakers were installed along the side walls, paired with four KEF Ci200RR THX speakers in the ceiling, to create an enveloping surround sound effect. Two Proficient 15” subwoofers were also integrated to add depth and power, producing the low frequencies essential for intense sound effects, whether in explosive action scenes or resonant music scores. For a more tactile experience, four 300W bass shakers were embedded in the seating platform, enhancing the immersive quality by allowing viewers to feel the bass vibrations. This precise configuration turns the home theatre room into a true cinema space with powerful, balanced sound that reaches every seat.

For visuals that captivate, the Epson TW9400 4K projector paired with the 160” Paramount FX acoustic screen was chosen as the focal point of the home theatre. This projector delivers lifelike clarity and exceptional colour accuracy, ensuring that movies, games, and sports events are displayed in stunning detail. The large Paramount FX acoustic screen complements the projector, enhancing the 4K visuals while also improving sound flow through its acoustic transparency.

Lighting plays a pivotal role in creating an immersive home theatre experience, so we included a Star Light Ceiling that gives the room a cinematic sparkle, along with LED strip lighting along the room’s periphery and around the seating platform, adding adjustable ambiance and making it easy to set the mood for any type of viewing experience. These lighting elements are fully customisable, with controls that allow for easy adjustment of colours and intensity.

To drive the setup, the Marantz Cinema 50 AV receiver was chosen for its powerful processing capabilities and seamless connectivity options. Paired with the Marantz MM7055 power amplifier, the system benefits from enhanced power handling and optimised sound quality, which is essential for managing the high-performance speaker system effectively. The receiver and amplifier are housed in a dedicated AV rack, with organised cable management to facilitate easy access and a clean appearance.

The Home Entertainment Solutions team meticulously placed each component to ensure optimal performance. After installation, we conducted a thorough calibration to fine-tune the audio and video settings, achieving the perfect balance between brightness, contrast, and sound clarity.
