This comprehensive upgrade incorporated a range of premium components and design elements, resulting in a space that has really transformed how this room looks, feels and sounds.

The platform was covered with new carpeting, carefully selected to match the existing flooring and maintain the room’s cohesive look.

To optimise sound quality, we integrated a combination of acoustic panels into the room, including new Walnut Oak Timber acoustic panels to add a touch of elegance while enhancing sound absorption. Complementing these were sleek black acoustic panels, strategically placed to ensure balanced acoustics and minimise sound reflections. And of course what cinema room would be complete without ambient lighting to really enhance the experience. The new RGB star light ceiling is a standout feature, adding a celestial touch to the cinema room.

For the audio setup, we selected top-of-the-line KEF speakers to provide crystal-clear sound. The KEF Ci160ER in-ceiling speakers were installed for a discrete yet powerful audio experience, while the KEF Ci160.2CL in-wall speakers ensured exceptional sound distribution throughout the room. The addition of a Proficient 12” subwoofer further enhanced the low-frequency performance, delivering deep, resonant bass that will bring films to life.

The centerpiece of the visual upgrade was a new Encore 115” acoustic projector screen. This screen was chosen for its superior image quality and acoustic transparency, allowing for an immersive viewing experience without compromising on sound quality. Coupled with the screen is the Denon AVRX1800H AV receiver, a high-performance unit that provides exceptional sound processing and flexibility for various home entertainment needs.

The existing floating cabinet was removed to create a cleaner, more streamlined look. This change not only improved the aesthetics of the room but also contributed to a more spacious and uncluttered environment. Lastly, to ensure the best performance of the new equipment, professional calibration was carried out which involved fine-tuning the audio and visual components to achieve optimal performance tailored to the specific characteristics of the room.
