Being a new home build, the clients were clear from the beginning that a home theatre was on the cards in their floorplan. Recognising the opportunity to integrate a home theatre system without the constraints of retrofitting, our team, in liason with the client’s builder were able to do all the pre-wiring at the opportune stage in construction. This foresight allowed for a cleaner installation, optimal placement of components, and a tailored approach to achieving the best acoustics and visuals in the designated space.

Central to this home theatre setup is the Epson TW7100 4K projector, renowned for its exceptional image clarity, high contrast ratios, and HDR support. Paired with a 120” Screen Pro Fixed acoustic projector screen, the combination ensures that every frame is projected with precision, vibrant colors, and deep blacks, making every viewing a mesmerising experience.

Audio is delivered through a meticulously selected 5.1.2 Klipsch speaker system, known for its dynamic range and immersive soundstage. The speakers are powered by the Denon AVRX1700H AV receiver, a powerhouse that brings out the best in audio fidelity, supporting various high-resolution audio formats and providing the backbone for a truly immersive Dolby Atmos experience.

Connectivity and signal integrity are ensured by the use of 14 Gauge Terium speaker cabling and 8K Vanco HDMI cabling, guaranteeing that both audio and video signals are transmitted without loss or interference. Understanding that the best equipment requires expert tuning to perform at its peak, professional calibration was conducted upon installation. This process fine-tuned the audio and visual settings to match the room’s unique characteristics, ensuring optimal performance. To empower our clients, comprehensive customer training was provided, covering the operation of the home theatre system, maintenance tips, and best practices to maximise their enjoyment and the longevity of the system.

Beyond the technical prowess, the aesthetic and functional design of the room was given equal importance. A Coffit ceiling was installed, not only adding to the room’s visual appeal but also enhancing the acoustics by minimising sound reflections. All this was finished off with a fresh lick of black paint and we have a fantastic space ready to acommodate some comfy lounges for all the family to enjoy the entertainment.
