At Home Entertainment Solutions, we love a good challenge! And this storage room conversion to a cinema room wasn’t without a few curve balls. But we managed to deliver on our client’s brief and have taken this unused basement storage space from a dark corner of the home to a cinematic hideaway!

Located in Sydney’s South-West suburb of Sandy Point, right by Picnic Point, Revesby, Pleasure Point and Panania, this older style home certainly had a great storage area but our client saw a perfect opportunity to convert the space into something far more functional where the whole family can relax, unwind and binge their favourite shows and movies in their own comfort. There was limited head height to work with but our professional team still managed to create an amazing space – just check out the before and after photos. It has certainly added value to this property.

The project included all building works to prep the room including all carpentry and gyprock, to lay a blank canvas for the installation of all hardware and equipment, including the amazing 120″ screen which, paired with the Epson 4k Projector, brings the room to life visually. Also installed was a Marantz receiver, hooked up to the surround sound system, with bass shakers in all seating for that truly immersive sound. Lastly, a raised platform was installed to make way for the comfortable, luxe seating you see, creating multiple viewpoints for up to 8 lucky viewers! All beneath a starry night ceiling – pure bliss!
